Your golf data stays yours.
Foreward saves your golf record on this device. It does not automatically sync to another phone or browser. Export a copy before clearing browser data, replacing a device, or moving to another browser.
Who operates Foreward
Foreward is operated by Blake Parkman, 1216 Edenham Lane, Cumming, Georgia 30041, United States. Privacy, access, correction, deletion, and security questions can be sent to blakeparkman6@gmail.com or raised by phone at +1 678-570-7929.
What Foreward stores
Adult profiles can store a player name and email, birth date, country or region, a coach or parent email, round and shot records, optional shot positions, equipment, practice plans, feelings, reflections, journal entries, launch-monitor imports, and saved access choices. A parent-managed profile stores the guardian name, a salted PIN hash, the player’s first name or nickname, age band, golf record, and privacy settings. It does not retain the player’s exact birth date or email address.
What leaves the device
Adult course search and map views can request course identity, scorecard, geometry, or imagery from Foreward services, OpenGolfAPI, Esri and United States Geological Survey services. Those requests may include normal connection data such as IP address, time, browser details, the search, the requested course area, and—only after permission—the coordinates needed for a nearby or on-course action. Nearby-course lookup and live positioning require location permission. If location is denied, manual course search still works. Parent-managed players cannot use precise location or online course lookup; they use courses already included or saved on the device.
Foreward does not use advertising, cross-app tracking, or an analytics SDK in this release. Map and course providers may process connection and request data under their own terms. Foreward does not sell player data.
Control and recovery
- Use Profile & data → Export player data in the iPhone app, or Account & data → Export player data in the browser, to create a readable backup.
- Use Profile & data → Delete player data in the iPhone app, or Account & data → Delete player data in the browser, to erase rounds, shots, journal, plans, launch-monitor records, private course edits, and saved access choices while keeping the profile.
- Use Remove on the profile chooser to remove the profile and its golf record from this browser.
- Revoking browser location permission stops future location access.
- Clearing site data can permanently erase local records if no export exists.
Retention and deletion
Local profiles and golf records remain on the device until the user deletes them, removes the profile, or clears site/app storage. User-created exports remain wherever the user saves or shares them. Foreward does not control a recipient's copy. Ordinary service and provider logs may be retained for security, reliability, rate limiting, and legal obligations under the applicable service or provider policy. Blake will respond to a privacy request using the contact above, but cannot identify or erase a record that never left the device or data held independently by another provider.
Security and changes
Foreward uses device storage and platform permission controls, but no system is guaranteed secure. Report a suspected security problem without sending a password, payment-card number, or sensitive health information. Material changes to this notice will be dated on this page before the changed collection is used.
Coaches, parents, and minors
Typing a coach or parent email on an adult profile does not send data or grant access. Parent-managed players cannot create Groups, share records, use precise location, or search for courses online. Export, deletion, adding another player, and profile removal require the guardian PIN. In the monthly iPhone release, subscription controls also require the guardian to unlock them; they do not turn on the player’s restricted features. The PIN protects settings on this device; it does not verify a person’s identity or replace any consent required by law.
The player birth date is used once to choose the 8–12 or 13–17 age group, then discarded. Foreward stores only the age group. The parent or guardian should review it as the player gets older.
Foreward is not placed in Apple's Kids Category. It is intended for players age 8 and older. A parent or legal guardian must create and manage any profile for a player under 18. If a parent believes a child's information was provided contrary to this notice, contact Blake to review the available record and deletion options.
Membership and billing
Subscriptions are not on sale until the monthly iPhone release is available. When enabled, Apple processes purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds through the App Store. Foreward does not receive your payment-card number, bank account number, or Apple Account password. Apple processes payment information under its own privacy policy.
The iPhone app uses Apple’s StoreKit transaction verification on the device to check the membership product, purchase and expiration dates, and revocation status. This release does not send that transaction information or your golf record to a Foreward subscription server or analytics service. Subscription access is kept separate from the player’s local golf record.
Restore Purchases checks the membership associated with the Apple Account used for the purchase. It does not restore lost golf records or create cloud sync. Existing records, export, deletion, and support remain available after membership expires. Deleting a player profile or uninstalling the app does not cancel an Apple subscription; use Apple’s subscription controls.
